We offer many pricing options, including such standard methods as Time & Materials, Fixed Price, and Percentage Based.  We are also happy to work with you to develop custom pricing options.  You will notice that all the pages describing the services we offer state prices in terms of an hourly rate.  This is the rate we use in determining the amounts that we charge for other pricing options and allows you to compare our rates with those of other companies.

Note that rates are not always an indicator of total price.  A less experienced provider may charge a lower hourly rate, but cost you more due to increased time required to complete the service or lower quality of the completed service.

Several pricing options we offer are as follows:

  • Time & Materials pricing - This option gives you the flexibility to change your requirements during the course of the project.  The charge for time is calculated by multiplying the number of hours worked (rounded to the nearest quarter hour) times the base hourly rate for the type of service (as stated on the page for the service).  Materials costs are charged to you with no markup - you only pay us for the time we use in acquiring, delivering, and/or installing them.

  • Fixed Price - If your project has a clearly defined scope, this option gives you the stability of knowing how much the job will cost up front.  We determine the fixed price by multiplying the number of hours we expect the project to take by the applicable base hourly rate.  However you pay the fixed price regardless of the number of hours we actually spend.  If the scope of the project has not been clearly defined then a separate project to define the scope must be completed before the fixed price for the main project can be calculated.  Any change to the project specifications, large or small, will require a change order with a corresponding adjustment in price.  If you expect significant changes to take place during the project, Time & Materials pricing will probably be more economical.

  • Percentage - This applies to services from which you derive a clearly definable value.  The price you pay is a percentage of this value.  For example if you use our recruiting services to fill a vacancy you may pay us a percentage of the first year salary for a new hire.

Regardless of the type of pricing, it may be modified by any of the following applicable factors:

  • 25% discount for advance payments

  • 10% credit/rebate for payments received by the due date (10 business days after the invoice date)

  • 50% additional charge for work performed on nights (8:00 pm to 7:00 am), Saturdays, and the following holidays:  New Year's day, Memorial day, Independence day, Labor day, and Thanksgiving.  Travel time, even that which would be considered non-billable at other times, is considered billable at this higher rate during these times.

  • 100% additional charge for work performed on Sundays and Christmas day.  Travel time, even that which would be considered non-billable at other times, is considered billable at this higher rate during these times.

  • Special discounts may also be offered on a case by case basis.  For instance we may offer you a discount over and above any others that apply if your contract is for a large quantity of work.

50% and 100% additional charges for work performed outside of regular business hours do not apply if we work at the specified times for our convenience or to compensate for delays on our part.  They only apply if:

  • you request the work to be done at a specific time that is subject to the additional charge.

  • more than 8 hours per business day are required to meet deliverable dates because of a tight project schedule or delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

While we may require a deposit or retainer from clients that have not established a stable payment history, any deposit amount required will be eligible for the advance payment discount described above.
