We offer many pricing options,
including such standard methods as Time & Materials, Fixed Price, and Percentage
Based. We are also happy to work with you to develop custom pricing options.
Our hourly rates range from $96 to $160 per hour, depending on the type of work
to be performed and the discounts you are eligible for as shown below.
These rates will typically get you a junior to mid level developer, rather than
the senior level architects, consultants, and developers we use. Since
senior level staff can typically perform better quality work at a faster rate
than junior personnel, we are often able to give you better quality services at
roughly the same total cost as companies that use less experienced staff.
We offer several pricing options as follows:
-
Time & Materials pricing - This option gives you the flexibility to change your requirements
during the course of the project. The charge for time is calculated by
multiplying the number of hours worked
times the hourly rate. Materials costs are charged to you with no markup - you only pay us
for the time we use in acquiring, delivering, and/or installing them.
-
Fixed Price - If your
project has a clearly defined scope, this option gives you the stability of
knowing how much the job will cost up front. We determine the fixed price by
multiplying the number of hours we expect the project to take by the applicable
base hourly rate. However you pay the fixed price regardless of the
number of hours we actually spend. If the scope of the project has not
been clearly defined then a separate project to define the scope must be
completed before the fixed price for the main project can be calculated.
Any change to the project specifications, large or small, will require a
change order with a corresponding adjustment in price. If you expect
significant changes to take place during the project, Time & Materials
pricing will probably be more economical.
-
Percentage - This applies to
services from which you derive a clearly definable value. The price
you pay is a percentage of this value. For example if you use our
recruiting services to fill a vacancy you may pay us a percentage
of the first year salary for a new hire.
Regardless of the type of pricing, the following discounts/rebates are available:
- 20% discount for advance payments
- 10% credit/rebate for payments received within 15 days of the invoice date
- 5% credit/rebate for payments received within 30 days of the invoice date
- 10% discount for larger projects (1000 hours or more)
-
10% discount if you want us to
bill you for office to office travel time. We typically only bill for air
travel time, but if the type of work you need can be done remotely with only
occasional visits to your facilities you may save money by taking this discount.
You may also choose how you would like to be invoiced:
- Regular - You receive an invoice at regular intervals (usually weekly) until the project is done.
- Milestone - You receive an invoice with each deliverable as defined in the contract for the project.
-
50/50 - You pay half of the
estimated cost for the job in advance and the remainder on completion. The half
you pay up front is actually only 40% since it is eligible for the 20%
advance payment discount.
We are also happy to work with you to develop custom pricing and payment terms that meet your needs.
